Despite The Pok\u00e9mon Company International\u2019s (TPCI) efforts to prevent overpriced merch resales, the scalpers are at it again.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pockettactics.com\/pokemon\">Pok\u00e9mon<\/a> World Championships is more than just a hub for competition across the series\u2019 various games &#8211; it\u2019s essentially a massive fan convention, and a huge part of the attraction is the pop-up Pok\u00e9mon Center and its <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Pokemon\/status\/1945875924680888343\">exclusive merch<\/a> offerings. This year, these awesome products range from a brand-new shiny <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pockettactics.com\/pokemon\/figures\">Pok\u00e9mon figure<\/a> to the ever-popular Bear Walker collaboration skateboard. As these products usually sell out instantly, this year, TPCI implemented a <a href=\"https:\/\/worlds.pokemon.com\/en-us\/experience\/pokemoncenter\/\">lottery system<\/a> for visitors to ensure that everyone has a fair shot of getting their dream item, regardless of when they can make it to the Pok\u00e9mon Center.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the leveled playing field, some trainers are still using their lottery luck to make a quick buck from less fortunate fans, before even getting their hands on the product or knowing its price.
