At the time of writing, there are 11 support heroes. Her combination of healing, damage with her Biotic Rifle and Biotic Grenade, and disruption with her Sleep Dart can create the perfect storm for the enemy team. Her Perks have only enhanced her strength, such as her \u201cShrike\u201d Perk, which allows her to Nano Boost herself.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-68a6f847f05e3\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>Kiriko is another support who offers a lethal combination of healing and damage thanks to her Healing Ofuda and damaging Kunai. His Immortality Field can save an entire team when used correctly, while his Amplification Matrix can increase everyone\u2019s damage significantly. He also has some great maneuverability thanks to his Exo Boots.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-68a6f847f18ad\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>Juno has quickly made a name for herself as a strong and competent support hero in Overwatch 2. Her Mediblaster heals her teammates while damaging enemies, as do her Pulsar Torpedos. Her maneuverability is exemplary because of her Martian Overboots and gliding skills, but she can also increase the speed and maneuverability of her allies with her Hyper Ring.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-68a6f847f1e9b\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>Lucio has always been a strong support in Overwatch thanks to his excellent balance of speed boosts and healing. Her Whip Shot is a great way to knock enemies off certain maps\u2013much like Lucio\u2019s Soundwave skill \u2013, and her Shield Bash can put space between her and the enemy. Brig is all about solid defenses, and while she isn\u2019t as effective at purely healing, she can control the battlefield when used appropriately.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-68a6f847f3147\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>Mercy\u2019s lack of offensive and defensive abilities gives her low survivability, but in the right hands, her movement skills can keep her alive and allow her to fly around the battlefield healing allies effectively. Her high healing output places her firmly in B-tier.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-68a6f847f374d\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>Moira is an attack-heavy support, so the key to playing her effectively is maintaining the balance between healing and damage. High-skilled Moira players can keep their teams alive while taking out multiple enemies. It\u2019s hard to justify a higher tier for Moira due to how ineffective she can be when used a certain way.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-68a6f847f3d3a\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>Illari is an often slept on support hero in Overwatch 2 whose healing pylon can be very useful. Although it is vulnerable and can be destroyed easily, if placed strategically and protected, it can continue to heal allies even when Illari is respawning. While his Orb of Discord can be incredibly effective to help teammates eliminate enemies, his Orb of Harmony heals slowly and can only be used on one ally at a time. Lifeweaver\u2019s healing can be brilliant when he is used by a skilled player. However, his Petal Platform and Life Grip skills can do more harm than good if not used correctly.
