Plus, Gamescom was only two weeks ago, so it feels like we\u2019ve been getting exciting announcements more or less a solid month straight.<\/p>\n<p>The latest claims come from <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/NateTheHate2\/status\/1962214416339833244\">NateTheHate<\/a>, a reputable leaker who claims that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pockettactics.com\/next-nintendo-direct\">next Nintendo Direct<\/a> is this month. More specifically, they claim that it&#8217;s in \u201cthe second week of the month, in the latter half on or around Sept 11 or 12th.\u201d If this turns out to be true, we at least know we don\u2019t need to hold our breath for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pockettactics.com\/hollow-knight-silksong\/release-date\">Hollow Knight: Silksong release date<\/a> anymore, with Team Cherry releasing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pockettactics.com\/new-switch-games\">new Switch game<\/a> later this week.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, if I were a betting woman, I\u2019d say you should expect something about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pockettactics.com\/best-mario-games\">Mario games<\/a>, given that if the showcase happens on September 12, that\u2019s just one day before the Italian plumber\u2019s 40th anniversary. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pockettactics.com\/nintendo-mario-birthday-rumor\">birthday rumors<\/a> suggest that another collection of games is on the way, likely for the Switch 2, featuring New Super Mario Bros. (DS), New Super Mario Bros.
