The fifth generation of Pok\u00e9mon games has been the subject of remake and remaster rumors for years now, and we\u2019re getting impatient.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pockettactics.com\/gen-5-pokemon\">gen 5 Pok\u00e9mon<\/a> games, as well as their direct sequels, are often cited as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pockettactics.com\/best-pokemon-games\">best Pok\u00e9mon games<\/a> ever made, but despite the huge reverence for the Unova region and its stories, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pockettactics.com\/pokemon\">Pok\u00e9mon<\/a> has yet to remake, remaster, or even port the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pockettactics.com\/best-ds-games\">DS games<\/a> in nearly 15 years. Of course, Pok\u00e9mon fans love to speculate, and we\u2019ve seen hints at Pok\u00e9mon Black and White remakes everywhere recently.<\/p>\n<p>The most recent instance of these hints was <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Pokemon\/status\/1942675072474292483\">this post<\/a> from the official Pok\u00e9mon X account, asking for our \u201cfavorite moments\u201d from the two games. These types of posts aren\u2019t uncommon, but considering Black and White\u2019s anniversary isn\u2019t until September, it seems like an odd choice to post this on a random July day.
