Genshin Impact lifts the lid on its upcoming UGC mode
It appears that Genshin Impact’s UGC mode is drawing near, as we now have an official post giving some details as to the release and what content is coming. There’s no specific name for the upcoming mode just yet, but here’s what we do know.
Hoyoverse recruited beta testers for the mode in July, and now we’ve got an official look at what we can expect to do in the ‘UGC Gameplay System’. The developer notes mention a “more powerful, more open-ended set of tools” to work with, which lets players’ creativity flow.
The new mode is somewhere that you can ‘design, create, and play’ your own stages – and those of other players. This spans party games, survival challenges, adventures, and more in both co-op and solo play. Development pictures in the post show a screen with different cards to choose from – likely similar to Honkai Star Rail’s Simulated Universe boosts – along with rows of critters from previous events.
