MCoC expands the Spider-Verse, and you can unlock the whole crew for free
November is a stacked month for Marvel Contest of Champions, especially if you’re a Spider-Man fan, as two more members of the Spider-Verse arrive in the Battlerealm. Plus, Summoners Fest is just around the corner, so expect more massive announcements and freebies to come.
It seems that the Sinister Six are up to no good again, as MCoC welcomes two Spider-Verse icons: Lizard and Pavitr Prabhakar, Mumbai’s very own friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. The mobile game already features a stacked cast of Spider-Men and their foes, thanks to the multiversal hijinks of the Spider-Verse movies, and I can’t wait to see how this goes. The accompanying event quest, So Much More, sees Pavitr investigating strange multiversal tech as the Lizard finally arrives in the Battlerealm against his will.
If you’ve never played this Marvel game before and you’re a massive webhead, now’s the perfect time to jump in. New players can redeem the Sinister Six Spectacular Bundle during November to claim six Spider-Verse heroes and six villains, equating to $200 in value, for absolutely free. Returning players don’t need to worry, though, as Kabam is giving everyone a free three-star Lizard as part of the event, too.
