Hoyoverse officially introduces Petit Planet, an Animal Crossing-like adventure

While official details are a little thin on the ground, we now have official confirmation of Petit Planet’s art style, logo, and mascots, thanks to the X account having a little makeover. It looks very different from every other Hoyoverse game so far, but we’re excited nonetheless.
The short trailer gives us a glimpse of what to expect from Petit Planet. Fruit-laden trees, a grassy glade with mushrooms, and a small, round creature with big blue eyes greet us. This transforms into a drawing of the small creature and a much bigger one, which then changes into the game’s icon art.
The setting seems similar to Animal Crossing: New Horizons so far, with a tiered landscape featuring a waterfall and different types of trees. For now, our team is speculating about what could come to the game – will there be humanoid characters? What is the gacha system like? Hoyoverse will hopefully reveal more sooner rather than later.
