While we’re all exploring Lumiose in Pokémon ZA, there are still events happening in the Paldea region that you should consider returning for. It’s time to take on the mighty Hydreigon in seven-star tera raids and add another formidable Pokémon to your future team.
As much as I love the new Pokémon game, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are still the most important titles when it comes to competitive play, and what more could a trainer ask for than a chance to catch an overpowered dragon Pokémon for their team? You can challenge Hydreigon with the Mightiest Mark in seven-star tera raids, but beware, its tera type is poison. That means my usual strategy of throwing my most powerful fairy Pokémon at it is probably a bad idea.
The main poison Pokémon weaknesses are ground and psychic, so consider choosing an attacker with these move types that can also survive dragon and dark-type attacks, as Hydreigon will likely know these. Luckily, if you’re struggling to build the perfect counter, you can take on Blissey in five-star raids during the event’s second weekend to farm tera shards and exp candies.
